Todd chrisley and Julie Chrisley from “Chrisley Knows Best” have spoken out about the custody of their granddaughter, Chloe Chrisley, after recent statements made by her mother, Angela Johnson.
In a statement given exclusively to People, Todd chrisley and Julie Chrisley shared that they are “saddened by the unfortunate and misleading narrative currently being portrayed in the media regarding Chloe.”
Jessica Doyle, who is the Family’s law attorney and was a part of the adoption process for Chloe, also made a statement to People claiming that Johnson’s allegations are “simply not legally correct or even valid.”
“I handled the formal adoption of Chloe by Todd and Julie Chrisley. Angela Johnson’s parental rights were terminated when she voluntarily surrendered her parental rights to Todd and Julie Chrisley on March 24, 2017,” Doyle said.
Doyle also added that Johnson “has had no contact with the minor child since 2015.”
