President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will step down from leading his country’s government after almost two years amid growing political pressure and a perceived loss of confidence.
The increased pressure for Starmer to step down follows the Tuesday release by Restore Britain Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe of the “Rape Gang Inquiry Report,” which states 250,000 girls were raped by Muslim “grooming gangs” in the United Kingdom. The fallout did not spare Starmer, a former head of the Crown Prosecution Service. While Starmer, at the time of writing, has not publicly confirmed his resignation, Trump posted about the 63-year-old Labour leader’s rumored departure Sunday on Truth Social.
“Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of The United Kingdom. He failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!). I wish him well!” Trump posted.
