Trump Calls News of Replacing Hegseth ‘False’, ‘Completely Unfounded’

Secretary of War 👤Pete Hegseth is not going anywhere.

That’s according to President Donald Trump who dismissed reports that Hegseth could be replaced.

Trump's statement on Truth Social comes after reports of friction between the two over the administration's handling of military operations and how much munitions the U.S. has.

"I am extremely happy with the job that 👤Pete Hegseth is doing," Trump wrote. "Everything has been extraordinary."

Trump used the administration's military operations in Venezuela and Iran as evidence of Hegseth's leadership.

Iran had been "decimated for the purpose of NOT ALLOWING IT TO EVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” the president posted.

He credited Hegseth with increasing military recruitment to what Trump said was historic levels.

Trump accused The Washington Post of publishing a false report even though it was told it was "completely FALSE.”

“In actuality, I really believe their fake ‘reporting’ is treasonous!” Trump wrote.
