President Donald Trump’s critiques of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) continued Saturday with the president calling his former ally a “Republican in Name Only.”

Trump posted on Truth Social how Greene has betrayed the Republican Party, The Hill reported.

“Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was,” Trump wrote.

“Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” he continued.

Saturday’s posting came after Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene as he suggested he would support someone to challenge her in the primary.

Greene responded to Trump’s post with a lengthy one of her own on X.

“I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are. And it truly speaks for itself,” she wrote. “There needs to be a new way forward.”

Trump, MTG Spar on Social Media: ‘Just Another Fake Politician’ — IJR

“I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle,” she continued. “The way forward is America First America Only.

“And that may be the most dangerous pursuit of all.”

She said Trump’s pressure on the GOP to ignore the controversy a “huge miscalculation.”

House Democrats and the Oversight Committee released new files related to the case. They included emails that hint that Trump knew more about Epstein’s relationship with underage girls than he admits.

Trump recently told the DOJ to look into any Democrats’ ties with Epstein.

Greene posted about the controversy.

“It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who and what country is putting so much pressure on him?” she wrote. “I forgive him and I will pray for him to return to his original MAGA promises.”

Trump responded on Truth Social, “Marjorie “Traitor” Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!”
