President Donald Trump said a Peace deal will happen āone way or anotherā a day after Iran had committed a āserious violationā of the ceasefire agreement.Ā
On Saturday, Iran fired on two Indian ships after retaking control of the Strait of Hormuz, per Mediaite.
Trump spoke with ABCās Jonathan Karl Sunday morning about a Peace deal.
āIt will happen,ā Trump said. āOne way or another. The nice way or the hard way. Itās going to happen. You can quote me.ā
In a brief video posted to X, Karl described Trump as not seeming āoverly concernedā about the latest developments.

Trump then went on Truth Social to explain his commitment to peace talks in Pakistan.
āIran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz ā A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement!ā Trump wrote. āMany of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasnāt nice, was it?ā
āMy Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan ā They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. Theyāre helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day!ā Trump continued.
āThe United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be āthe tough guy!ā
āWeāre offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they donāt, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NICE GUYā Trump added. āTheyāll come down fast, theyāll come down easy and, if they donāt take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years.
