According to Fox News, the incident happened while the president was hosting a local couple, Sandra and Brad, and their two children. Sandra is employed as a casino waitress while Brad holds an officer position at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

As Sandra began to speak at the podium, her young son tried to run toward the end of the stage. Trump, a father of five and grandfather of 11, noticed the boy immediately and took a few quick steps to reach him. The president led the child back to the center of the stage just as the mother started her remarks.

Addressing the crowd, he quipped that he did not wish for him to become Biden and tumble off the stage. This comment drew laughter from the crowd, who were already enjoying the lighthearted moment. The president had invited the family to share how his tax policies helped them save money.

Per reports, Trump even offered to help hold one of the tots while the mother spoke. He called the group “a beautiful family” as they joined him on stage to discuss the benefits of his economic agenda.
