President Donald Trump said an ICE agent hospitalized after a fatal Shooting in Minneapolis narrowly survived being struck by a vehicle, calling the incident an act of violent resistance against federal law enforcement.
According to the New York Post, in a statement posted to Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump described the woman involved as “very disorderly” and said the agent acted in Self-Defense after being hit.
“The woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense,” Trump wrote while sharing a wide-angle video clip of the incident.
