Former President Donald Trump is sending a warning to donors who want to keep funding his last remaining primary challenger.
On Wednesday night, Trump ripped into former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, who he has given the nickname âBirdbrainâ to, as he insisted she is âvery bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our Country.â
âHer False Statements, Derogatory Comments, and Humiliating Public Loss, is demeaning to True American Patriots. Her anger should be aimed at her Third Rate Political Consultants and, more importantly, Crooked Joe Biden and those that are destroying our Country â NOT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE IT,â he continued.

Trump also attacked Haleyâs competence as he claimed she is âaverage at bestâ and ânot the one to take on World Leaders, and she never did.â
He then pivoted to note how donors in the past who supported his political rivals would âimmediately come to me, and want to âhelp out.ââ
âThis is standard in Politics, but no longer with me. Anybody that makes a âContributionâ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp,â Trump warned.
Finally, he added, âWe donât want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!â
The post comes as Haley has vowed to continue her campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
Despite coming in second place in the New Hampshire primary, Haley announced she had raised $1 million since she spoke after the results came in on Tuesday night.
And MarketWatch notes some analysts believe donors may not stop funding her campaign right away.
Temple Universityâs Robin Kolodny told the outlet, âIf I were one of these people, like the Kochs, and I really, really didnât want to deal with Trump again, Iâm waiting to see whatâs going to happen. I wouldnât pull my money until sometime in March.â
However, billionaire and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman has reportedly signaled he will no longer continue to donate to Haley after her performance in New Hampshire.
