President Donald Trump was hit with another ā€œmanipulated Mediaā€ tag this week after sharing a doctored video of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

In the misleading video, Biden approached the podium and pulls out his phone, moments later, he appears to play the NWA song ā€œF*** Tha Policeā€, which begins ā€œf*** the police, coming straight from the underground.ā€

Moments later, Biden pauses the song and says, ā€œI tell you what, if I had the talent of any one of these people, I’d be elected president by acclamation.ā€

Trump wrote along with the repost, ā€œChina is drooling. They can’t believe this!ā€

In reality, Biden played the song ā€œDespacitoā€ after being introduced by Luis Fonsi, who sings that song.

This is not the first time that Trump or his campaign have been tagged as ā€œmanipulated Mediaā€ on Twitter. In late August, the Trump campaign Twitter account posted a clip of Biden saying ā€œyou won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America.ā€ Twitter tagged that clip as ā€œmanipulated Media.ā€

In June, Trump posted a video that was doctored to look like a clip from CNN. The chyron in that video was faked and Twitter added a ā€œmanipulated Mediaā€ tag. The video was removed after a complaint from the copyright owner.

Twitter and other social Media networks have faced barrages of criticism after the 2016 elections in which fake news became a constant problem on the platforms. Twitter has since added a fact-checking feature to some of Trump’s tweets, specifically his misleading tweets about mail-in voting.

Additionally, Facebook has begun adding an information label to some of Trump’s statements on the platform about mail-in voting.

And the social Media giant has added explanations to other doctored videos, including one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), which was slowed to make it look as if Pelosi were drunk or drugged.
