Pope Francis remained in Romeās Gemelli Hospital Sunday as The Vatican press office released a photo of the pontiff in a private chapel in the hospital.
The photo shows the pope in a wheelchair in front of an altar and provides a glimpse of him for the first time since entering the hospitalĀ Feb. 14 when the 88-year-old was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, perĀ ABC News.

The Holy See, The Vaticanās press office, said the private chapel of the popeās 10-floor apartment in Gemelli. The pope had did not have visitors on Sunday.
The Vatican revealed the pope has had motor physiotherapy and ābenefitted from it,ā The Vatican reported.
Sunday marked the popeās 31st day in a hospital.
The Vatican added he did āa bit of work.ā
Many remarked on such social media the similarity between the photo release Sunday of Pope Francis and one taken of John Paul II in 2005 shortly before he died.
