Patriotism soared to new heights Wednesday as two large flag poles were installed at the White House.
The two 88-foot-tall Flagpoles with U.S flags attached, were erected on the north lawn and south lawn. They were so needed, President Donald Trump said he would foot the bill if need be, USA Today reported. And he did.
“How do you like it, everybody?” Trump asked.
The president posted on X to announce the new Flagpoles on Tuesday.
“It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House, North and South Lawns. It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place,” he wrote.
