Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) certainly has a way of triggering the Left and causing them to resort to bizarre tactics.
On Monday, âThe Viewâ co-host Ana Navarro offered a bizarre tidbit about how she behaves around DeSantis supporters.
She explained she tries to scream âwe say gayâ whenever she sees DeSantis supporters.
âI go around like a dog in Florida with my head outside of my car. We say gay! We say gay! We say gay!â Navarro said.
Watch the video below:
Her comment refers to the ridiculously and falsely dubbed âDonât Say Gayâ law in Florida.
The Parental Rights in Education Act, the actual name of the legislation, does nothing to ban saying the word gay.
According to the text of the legislation, âClassroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.â
In fact, The Associated Press reported in June that âtens of thousands of LGBTQ+ peopleâ traveled to Florida for so-called âGay Days.â
So people can still say gay in the state, and screaming âwe say gayâ out your car is not the zinger you think it is.
Itâs not normal behavior.
A DeSantis supporter hearing a random person screaming that phrase will probably think they are suffering some kind of medical incident and are on the way to the hospital to get that checked out â and then get on with their day.
But for the Left, this is just âfireâ as the kids say. DeSantis supporters will surely never recover from this.
