Fox Newsâ Chris Wallace is offering a bleak evaluation of the state of President Joe Bidenâs presidency.
During an appearance on Fox Newsâ âAmericaâs Newsroomâ on Friday, Wallace was asked where he thinks âthe Biden presidency is now after yesterday and then last night.â
âWell, not in good shape,â Wallace began. âThe fact of the matter is that Joe Biden doesnât have enough juice. Not with Republicans. He doesnât have enough juice with his own party.â
The âFox News Sundayâ host noted that Democrats do not need to rely on Republicans to pass their agenda.
He explained, âThatâs twice now in a month that heâs gone up to the Hill, met with the House Democratic caucus, pleaded with them to pass the infrastructure bill and in effect said, âIâm going to cover you, Iâve got your backâ on this big tax-and-spend, I guess itâs now down to $1.75 trillion.â
âI have been covering Washington for 40 years and you donât put the president in a room ⌠unless you know what the result is going to be,â he added.
Finally, Wallace said, âAnd you normally know the result because people are too supportive of him or too scared of him to buck him. But, thatâs not true with Joe Biden. He goes up there and he says, âMy presidency and the House and Senate Democratic majorities will be determined by what happens.â He said in the next week but he really wanted it yesterday. And they ignore him, they give him the back of their hand.â
âSo thatâs not a good sign for a president when he doesnât have enough juice within the members of his own party to get an important bill passed,â he added.

Wallace wound down this evaluation of Bidenâs presidency by sharing his prediction of what may happen if the Virginia Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin defeats former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) in the Nov. 2 election.
âIf you think that the Biden agenda is having a tough time right now⌠If goes for a Republican against a former popular governor, Terry McAuliffe, next Tuesday, youâre going to see Democrats run for the hills and theyâre going want to go as far away from Joe Biden and the Democratic agenda as they can,â Wallace said.
He added, âAnd if was tough to pass these bills in Congress this week, if McAuliffe loses, itâs going to be even tougher next week.
Wallaceâs comments come after House Democrats had to once again postpone a vote on the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package, and as FiveThirtyEightâs tracker finds that 51.1% of Americans do not approve of Bidenâs job performance while 43.7% say they do.
