Hours of sworn testimony from former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were made public Monday, as the House Oversight Committee released video from last week’s depositions tied to its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
According to the New York Post, the footage shows both Clintons forcefully rejecting any suggestion they were aware of Epstein’s criminal conduct.
“I saw nothing that ever gave me pause,” the former president told lawmakers during questioning at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center in New York.
Hillary Clinton similarly denied having any familiarity with Epstein, maintaining she did not know the disgraced financier.
The depositions stem from subpoenas issued by the Oversight panel in August, targeting the Clintons and eight other individuals as part of the committee’s broader probe.
