Vice President Kamala Harris is on a roll lately.
In just a few days, she has tackled explaining the definition of culture and the issue of access to transportation.
And on Wednesday, she took up the term AI.
āI think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is, AI is kind of a fancy thing. First of all, itās two letters,ā Harris said.
She added, āIt means artificial intelligence.ā
Ah yes, the fancy two-letter acronyms, you gotta love them.

It did not take long for conservatives to react to her comments.
One user wrote, āSpeaking of Artificial Intelligenceā¦ā
The Republican National Committeeās Jake Schneider tweeted, āItās like sheās the personification of a broken chatgpt bot.ā
āWhen youāre giving a book report for a book you havenāt read Part #232,ā wrote another user.
Another person asked, āWhy does she address us as if we are 5 years old?ā

In May, the White House named Harris its āAI czarā in its bid to āpromote responsible AI innovation that protects Americansā rights and safety.ā
But if the Biden administration was hoping to have a clear communicator who can convince Americans the administration has a grasp on understanding this new technology, they probably could have made a better pick.
