Watch: House Hearing Turns Heated as Dem Tells Comer He ‘Needs Therapy’ Over Biden Impeachment Inquiry

Things got heated in the House as a top Democrat sought to grill Republicans on their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, the House Oversight Committee was holding a hearing that was supposed to be on the top of the Chinese Communist Party.

However, the issue of the impeachment inquiry into Biden came up.

The committee’s chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) asked, “It’s OK… for China to bribe Joe Biden’s family with $9 million?”

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the ranking member of the committee, shot back, “That’s the lie that’s been discredited…. If Biden took a bribe, why aren’t you impeaching him?”

“Who says we’re not?” Comer asked.

From there the exchange turned contentious as Comer told Raskin that Democrats “need therapy” because of their focus on Trump.

However, Raskin shot back, “You need therapy, you’re the one who’s involved with the deranged politician.”

Comer then asked what the Biden family did to earn money.

But Raskin shot back, “You’re impeachment investigation much identify a high crime and misdemeanor.”

“I’ll tell you what Joe Biden did, he was a senator of the United States, then he wrote a book, and he said he made the most money he ever made in his life, millions of dollars on his book,” he added.

Comer then claimed foreign governments paid the Biden family.

Raskin shot back, “Somebody needs therapy, but it’s nobody on our side of the aisle.”

“Back to the China hearing!” Comer said as he tried to return to the matter at hand.

Roughly 20 seconds of chaos followed as Comer tried to bring the hearing back to order.
