‘We Will Vigorously Push Back’: Five Times Democrats Totally Lost It Since Trump Took Back Washington

Since President Donald Trump’s return to office, the Democratic Party has experienced several high-profile outbursts.

From public meltdowns to helping immigrants break the law, these incidents repeatedly show how rattled the Democrats are by the GOP’s resurgence. These incidents haven’t gone unnoticed, and, with each one, cracks in the party are starting to show.

1. Adam Schiff Floats Impeachment Before Trump Even Takes Office

This list starts off with a known GOP critic, Democratic California Sen. Adam Schiff, who couldn’t even wait for Trump to take the oath before dusting off his impeachment playbook. Days before Trump takes office, Schiff said Democrats are ready to “fight” and made it clear they plan to rerun the hits from Trump’s first term.

Though absolutely no one asked, Schiff once again made himself the main character in a drama nobody’s buying. Trump had just been formally declared the president, and Schiff is already fantasizing about dragging the country back into another circus.

“We keep a focus on trying to get positive affirmative things done for the country. But a lot will depend on how he chooses to govern. If he violates the law, if he violates the Constitution, if he abuses his office, we will vigorously push back, fight back, stand up to him, as we had to do during his first term in office,” Schiff said when asked about prioritizing legislative efforts over investigating Trump.

2. Maxine Waters Loses It Over Trump, Musk In Screeching Tirade

Next up is Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters, who delivered a full-blown political tantrum, ranting about both Trump and Elon Musk during a Democratic rally. She claimed — without offering a shred of evidence — that Musk will use taxpayer dollars to chase rockets without anyone’s consent.

Waters then lumped Trump into the rant, accusing him and his billionaire buddies of scheming to take over America’s political and economic future. “We’re in a crisis in this country because Trump and Elon Musk and the billionaires have decided they’re going to put 🇺🇸US all in our place. They’re going to run this country. They’re going to make sure that they take over everything,” Waters said. “Are we going to let them do that? Are we going to let them run this government in the way that they can make even more money and so they won’t stop? It is so brazen every day they’re taking new actions. They’re taking executive actions. Every day they’re doing something.”

3. Jasmine Crockett Calls Paralyzed Gov. Abbott ‘Hot Wheels’ In Cheap Shot

And just when you thought the bar couldn’t get any lower, Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett decided to insult a paraplegic governor. Speaking to a room of LGBTQ+ activists, she called Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels” and followed it up by calling him a “hot ass mess.”

Crockett seemed proud of the jab, delivering it with zero self-awareness. Democrats claim to fight for dignity and inclusion — unless, apparently, you’re a Republican in a wheelchair.

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, come on now. And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey,” Crockett said in her speech.

4. AOC Undermines Tom Homan In Livestream Stunt

Next on the list of Democrats pushing boundaries is Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who decided it was a good idea to pick a fight with border czar Tom Homan by telling illegal immigrants how to outsmart federal law enforcement. During a livestream called “Know Your Rights With ICE,” AOC offered tips like refusing to open the door and staying silent during raids.

As if that wasn’t enough, her official government site offers even more tips on how to avoid cooperating with immigration authorities. Instead of supporting law enforcement, AOC is handing out cheat codes for breaking the law.

Homan fired back and warned that AOC’s stunt might come with consequences. While she plays social media activist, Homan reminded everyone that helping people evade federal law isn’t just reckless, it could be criminal.

5. Dem Rep Says Elon Musk Needs To Be Stopped With “Actual Weapons”

Closing out the list is Democratic California Rep. Robert Garcia, who went on CNN and casually floated the idea of using “actual weapons” against Musk and claimed it was to protect democracy. During a live segment, Garcia framed Musk as a threat to democracy and urged Democrats to escalate their attacks.

He didn’t stop at Musk. Garcia also went after Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for daring to call for decorum and bipartisanship. Apparently, the new Democratic strategy is to fight free speech with firepower and mock anyone who suggests playing by the rules.

“Well he is a dick, and I think he’s also harming the American public in an enormous way. What I think is really important and what the American public wants is for 🇺🇸US to bring actual weapons to this bar fight,” Garcia said when asked whether personal attacks against Musk were an effective strategy. “This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country, and it’s important to push back on the chairperson of this committee.”
