âThe Viewâ co-host Whoopi Goldberg admitted on Wednesday that former Vice President Kamala Harris âshould have run a better campaignâ if she wanted to defeat President Donald Trump.
Excerpts from Harrisâ book, â107 Days,â expressed frustration with former President Joe Biden over his ârecklessâ decision to run for reelection and accused his White House aides of undermining her chances of winning the election. Goldberg said that Democrats need to stop rehashing the past and just admit they should have done better.
âListen, you know, people love to go back and say what we should have done, what we should have done. We should have run a better campaign. We shouldâve run a better campaign, people wanted to hear what they heard. They got what they wanted. I donât understand why we got to re-litigate it. It happened and now weâre all sitting in it and itâs everybodyâs fault,â Goldberg said.

Goldberg further said that Democrats âshould have kept their mouths shutâ rather than publicly voice their concerns about Bidenâs mental acuity. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin argued that Democrats should have called on Biden to step aside early on because of his age.
Co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin baselessly claimed Harris lost because Americans refuse to elect a black woman.
Harris also accused Bidenâs staff of âadding fuel to negative narrativesâ about her staff turnover and her success on the job. The former vice president also stated that she unfairly âshouldered blameâ for the border crisis despite her being appointed âborder czarâ to address illegal immigration.
Border encounters reached historically high levels while Harris was border czar, exceeding 2 million through Bidenâs term and even 3 million in the 2023 fiscal year, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Democrats and the corporate media insisted that Biden was mentally competent and in perfect health until the June 2024 debate against the then- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, where he visibly appeared confused and spoke with a raspy voice. Biden dropped out in July 2024 after his party largely called on him to leave the race.
Harris ultimately went on to lose every swing state and became the first Democrat in twenty years to lose the popular vote in November 2024.Trump became the first Republican nominee to win Hispanic men in a presidential election and also made history among blue collar workers.
