Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, is making headlines again with a tweet about Jewish people.

Over the weekend, he wrote, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”

Ye continued, “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

The tweet sparked several reactions from other users.

One user wrote, “Kanye West has more than 3 million followers. He threatened to go ‘death con 3’ on Jewish people. I don’t hear his GOP supporters coming out to condemn this. Instead, Jewish people are being told to get over it because he isn’t serious.”

Another tweeted, “Kanye West, who is threatening the extinction of Jewish Americans, is also the face of the Republican Party – the GOP literally praised him here 2 days ago! Midterms are in 30 days. SO MUCH at stake. VOTE BLUE!!!!”

A spokesperson from Twitter told CNN Ye’s account was locked for violating the social media platform’s policies.

“This tweet violated the Twitter Rules,” the spokesperson said.

CNN reported the spokesperson did not share which policy was violated.

Instead, they sent a link to the company’s rules, including the guidelines on hateful conduct, as the outlet noted.

The rapper’s account was locked just days after his Instagram account was restricted.

Meta reportedly made the decision after Ye shared a since-deleted post that included a “screenshot of a text conversation with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs that was criticized by the American Jewish Committee as ‘anti-Jewish,'” as CNN reported.

Ye made headlines last week after wearing a shirt with “White Lives Matter” printed on it at a show during Paris Fashion Week.
