A brief but awkward moment between Bill and Hillary Clinton on a New York City street is making the rounds online after a video captured the former president appearing to nudge his wife toward traffic.

The clip shows the couple attempting to cross a busy intersection on Tuesday after spending time in the city, per Fox News.

According to reports, they had just attended an event and visited their daughter, Chelsea Clinton.

As they approached a crosswalk, Bill Clinton appeared to encourage Hillary Clinton to move forward despite the traffic signal.

Footage circulating online shows the former president smiling as he nudged her toward the street in what looked like an attempt to cross before the signal changed.

Hillary Clinton quickly resisted the move.

Pulling back from the edge of the crosswalk, she raised her hands in front of her while protesting.

“No, no, no, no, no. Don’t do that. Don’t do that,” she said.

Bill Clinton appeared amused by the moment.

“That’s not a good idea,” he replied with a grin.

The pair remained on the sidewalk for a few seconds longer before the pedestrian signal finally changed.

Once it did, the Clintons — accompanied by what appeared to be members of a security detail — crossed the street without incident.

The public appearance came after both Clintons were involved in a high-profile congressional inquiry connected to the federal government’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

As part of that investigation, the former president and former first lady testified under subpoena before the House Oversight Committee.

The depositions were described as unprecedented, given the prominence of the two political figures.

Lawmakers said the inquiry focused on how Epstein was able to cultivate relationships with powerful and influential individuals while his criminal activities went largely unchecked.

Bill Clinton previously acknowledged that he had known Epstein and traveled with him in the past.

However, neither Bill Clinton nor Hillary Clinton has been accused of wrongdoing related to Epstein.

Investigators have sought to understand the broader network of high-profile contacts Epstein maintained.

As a result, document releases connected to the case have included references to a range of prominent figures — including both Bill Clinton and President Donald Trump — as part of the committee’s review.
