President Joe Biden is slapping the idea of President Donald Trump receiving intelligence briefings.

When asked by CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell during an exclusive interview if Trump should still receive intelligence briefings, Biden responded, ā€œI think not.ā€

Biden continued to note he believes that ā€œbecause of his erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection.ā€

Watch Biden’s interview below:

Asked what his worst fear is if Trump continues to receive intelligence briefings, Biden said, ā€œI’d rather not speculate out loud,ā€ adding, ā€œI just think that there’s no need for him to have the intelligence briefing.ā€

Biden asked, ā€œWhat value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?ā€

Former presidents are traditionally given intelligence briefings, and Biden cutting Trump off would be the first time a former president has been barred from receiving intelligence briefings, according to The New York Times.
