President Donald Trump shared that he believes the Charlie Kirk shooting suspect has been caught following a manhunt.
Speaking on âFox & Friendsâ Friday morning, the president revealed, âI think, with a high degree of certainty, we have him, in custody. Everyone did a great job.â
âI hope heâs going to be found guilty, I would imagine. And I hope he gets the death penalty,â Trump added.
Trump shared that âessentially somebody that was very closeâ to the suspect turned him in.
âSomebody that was very close to him said, âhmm, thatâs him.â And essentially went to the father, went to a U.S. marshal who was fantastic, by the way, and the person was involved with law enforcement, but was a person of faith, a minister, and brought him to a U.S. Marshal who was fantastic and the father convinced the son, this is it,â he said.
