Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced a court date for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) husband following a DUI arrest.

According to Fox News, Haley said Paul Pelosi agreed to an August 3 court date at 8:30 a.m. in Napa County Superior Court.

Haley’s office is reportedly reviewing charges stemming from the DUI arrest.

“The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi,” Haley said, as Fox News reported.

She added, “This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County.”

Haley explained, “No decision has been made at this time.”

She continued, “Any speculation to the contrary is incorrect. When a filing decision is made by the Napa County District Attorney, the media and public will be notified.”

Last month, Paul Pelosi was arrested and charged after being involved in a collision, as CNN reported.

No injuries were reported in the crash and the other driver was not arrested.

The booking report shows bail was set at $5,000.

A statement from Drew Hammill, the House speaker’s spokesperson, said, “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”

Just days after his arrest, a new report surfaced on a fatal car accident from Paul Pelosi’s past.

According to the report, Paul Pelosi was in another car accident 65 years ago when he was 16 years old and a high school sophomore.

He reportedly picked up his 19-year-old brother, David Pelosi, from his girlfriend’s house, and they both decided to go on a “joyride.”

An excerpt from a February 23, 1957, edition of the San Francisco Examiner explained, “The car veered across the road, bounced back from a small embankment, climbed 20 feet up another, spun around and somersaulted simultaneously and ended upside down on the shoulder with both youths underneath.”

The report showed Paul Pelosi broke his collarbone during the crash.

He then broke free from the vehicle and called for help.

David’s life could not be saved.
