1-800-Flowers reports $52.3M Q4 net loss as revenue falls 12.9%
1-800-Flowers reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 revenue of $293.1 million, down 12.9% from a year earlier, and a net loss of $52.3 million, or 82 cents per diluted share. Sales declined across its Consumer Floral & Gifts and Gourmet Foods & Gift Baskets businesses, while BloomNet revenue rose modestly; the company attributed the broader decline to a strategic shift aimed at improving marketing effectiveness and profitability. Although lower marketing and labor expenses reduced operating costs, adjusted EBITDA worsened to a $31 million loss from $24.2 million a year earlier. For the full fiscal year, revenue fell 10.8% to $1.50 billion, and the apparent improvement in net loss was largely due to smaller noncash impairment charges; adjusted EBITDA dropped to $2.9 million, while negative free cash flow improved to $13 million. Management expects fiscal 2027 revenue to decline by a mid-single-digit percentage but forecasts adjusted EBITDA of $10 million to $15 million, including about $12 million in additional compensation expense.
