24 Connecticut Teams Expected at 2027 Hoophall

Connecticut is expected to send a large contingent of boys’ and girls’ teams to the 2027 Panini Hoophall Invitational in Springfield, Massachusetts. The event is slated to feature 84 teams overall—64 boys’ teams and 20 girls’ teams—with each team guaranteed two games. Reports disagree on whether Connecticut will send 22 or 24 teams, and also differ on the size of the 2025 inaugural field. New London’s boys’ and girls’ teams are set to return for a third consecutive year, with back-to-back games scheduled for Jan. 16 at Duggan Academy.
