Boeing RTX and GE Aerospace Chiefs Meet Officials on Certification Reform

The chief executives of Boeing, RTX and GE Aerospace are meeting with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford to discuss speeding up certification of aircraft, engines and components. The push comes as Boeing faces heightened regulatory scrutiny after deadly 737 Max crashes and a 2024 door-plug blowout, with major aircraft programs still awaiting approvals.
