Aikman Calls Cowboys Receiver Display Worst Ever

Troy Aikman says the Cowboys’ recent offensive struggles cannot be blamed on Dak Prescott alone, pointing to pass-protection breakdowns that left defenders free to pressure him and receivers failing to run crisp routes. He called one unnamed receiver’s performance the worst he had ever seen, while declining to identify the player; separate criticism from coach Brian Schottenheimer of George Pickens’ run blocking does not establish who Aikman meant. Aikman also faulted Dallas for moving away from the running game, as the team tries to address its offensive execution before facing the Philadelphia Eagles.
