Air France plans Nashville, San Diego routes

Air France will add nonstop service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to San Diego on May 3, 2027, and Nashville on May 14, with both routes scheduled three times weekly on Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline says it will be the only carrier offering nonstop Paris–San Diego service and the only airline with nonstop flights between Nashville and continental Europe; KLM will also connect San Diego with Amsterdam. The additions will bring Air France’s U.S. network to 20 destinations for summer 2027, and Nashville flights will use the number AF046 as a nod to Dolly Parton’s birth year, 1946. Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee said the state’s disputed takeover of Nashville’s airport board did not derail negotiations for the Paris route, which is set to begin as the city and state remain in litigation over airport governance.
