Alabama Records $14.6B Investment Across 234 Projects

Alabama’s employment landscape spans immediate openings and longer-term industrial growth. Mobile employers are hiring for radiopharmaceutical production, metal fabrication, packaging supervision and precision machining, while Auburn has openings in manufacturing process engineering, CNC and laser operations, and equipment maintenance. Florence listings include automotive-parts sales, dealership wholesale leadership and construction-services sales. At the same time, Alabama reported $14.6 billion in capital investment across 234 new and expanding projects in 2025; Airbus plans to invest more than $82 million in its Mobile operations, adding 50 jobs and building a distribution center expected to open in early 2027.
