Alanis Morissette Comes Out as Pansexual

Alanis Morissette said she is pansexual during the closing minutes of a November 3 episode of the “Handsome” podcast, responding to a joking question from co-host Fortune Feimster about whether past experiences with men had made her want to be a lesbian. After co-host Tig Notaro asked if she was serious, Morissette confirmed it and joked that she preferred to leave the revelation “for the epilogue.” Morissette has previously spoken about exploring relationships with women and expressed appreciation for the LGBTQ+ community, though she did not publicly use the pansexual label in those earlier comments.
