Alford Wins Third Missouri House Term
Republican Mark Alford won a third term representing Missouri’s 4th Congressional District, defeating Democrat Jordan Herrera with more than 64% of the vote. The sprawling district includes rural and agricultural communities, and Alford highlighted constituent service and federal funding for local projects during his campaign. He also emphasized conservative priorities, including reducing federal spending and regulations, supporting farmers and gun rights, and tightening border security. President Donald Trump endorsed Alford. The race unfolded amid a contentious redistricting debate over a proposed new congressional map for Missouri.
