Amazon Adds Uber Eats Perk for Prime Members
Amazon has partnered with Uber Eats to let U.S. Prime members order restaurant delivery through Amazon.com or its shopping app with no delivery fee on qualifying orders of $25 or more. New users can also receive $20 off each of their first two qualifying orders during the introductory offer. The benefit requires an active U.S. Prime membership and applies only to orders placed through Amazon, not the Uber Eats app, groceries, pickup or rides. The deal replaces Amazon’s Grubhub partnership, while the move comes amid intensifying competition among companies seeking to expand food and grocery delivery.
