Amber Glenn Plans DWTS Dance for Sister

Amber Glenn dedicated her “Dancing With the Stars” Dedication Night performance to her younger sister, Brooke, who joined Glenn and pro partner Pasha Pashkov for a contemporary dance to Sia’s “Breathe Me.” Glenn said Brooke helped her through a severe period of mental-health struggles about a decade ago and reminded her that she was more than an athlete; she described the dance as a way to thank her sister for years of support. Brooke has also supported Glenn’s skating career and was the first person Glenn came out to as bisexual, according to Glenn. The sisters grew up in Dallas, where their family made sacrifices to support Glenn’s demanding and costly figure-skating training, including adapting their schooling around her schedule.
