American plans route returns in Naples, Cap-Haïtien
American Airlines will resume commercial service at Naples Airport on Dec. 2, 2026, with two daily nonstop round trips to its Charlotte hub. The return follows a nine-year absence of commercial flights at the airport; American last served Naples in 2001. The Naples Airport Authority approved an operating agreement with the airline, and tickets have gone on sale. Preparations include renovating the North Road Terminal, installing security and TSA screening infrastructure, and hiring additional staff for ground handling; service will initially use a single gate.
