Apple TV Renews Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed With Tatiana Maslany Returning
Apple TV renewed Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed for a second season on Wednesday. Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson return. Production is scheduled for the first half of 2027. Apple has not set a premiere date or episode count. The complete first season is streaming on Apple TV. Creator David J. Rosen said the team is delighted to continue the story and grateful to Apple and the cast and crew, adding it is pretty amazing for a show whose title came from a spam email. Bloody Disgusting reported Season 1 at 93% positive on Rotten Tomatoes and cited two Stephen King posts praising the series: one calling it very entertaining despite goofy plot holes and asking who is a better detective than a good copy-editor; another ranking it above Widow's Bay, likening it to Hitchcock, and highlighting Maslany's instant shifts from comic to terror. In Season 1, Paula is exonerated and gains custody of daughter Hazel after Dennis is murdered and framed. An unknown person contact her with a video showing her running over Caleb in Portland. Further Season 2 cast and storyline details are unannounced.
