Aramco completes $2.6 billion Humain stake deal

Saudi Aramco has finalized its acquisition of a 49% stake in AI company HUMAIN, with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund retaining a 51% majority stake. Aramco will contribute about 9.9 billion riyals ($2.6 billion) in cash during 2026, alongside AI, computing and digital assets; both partners will contribute capabilities and talent. The deal is intended to build HUMAIN into an integrated AI business spanning data centers, high-performance computing, advanced models, applications and industry services, with plans to reach 3 gigawatts of data center capacity by 2030. Aramco expects to use HUMAIN’s infrastructure to expand AI applications in its industrial operations, while the partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s efforts to grow its AI sector and attract investment.
