Argenx Q3 Sales Rise 54% to $1.7B

argenx reported third-quarter 2026 product sales of $1.7 billion, up 54% year over year, as VYVGART continued to reach more patients; net profit rose to $506 million from $344 million. Operating profit was $486 million, below analysts’ expectations, and the operating margin narrowed amid costs related to the Forte Biosciences acquisition. After spending about $2.1 billion net on the deal, the company reported $3.7 billion in cash and current financial assets and forecast roughly $4 billion in combined research, development and administrative expenses for 2026. The FDA granted priority review to VYVGART Hytrulo for pediatric generalized myasthenia gravis, with a decision expected in February 2027, while argenx plans an end-of-year filing for immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy following positive Phase 3 results and is pursuing another registrational study in dermatomyositis. The company is advancing empasiprubart in Phase 3, with results in multifocal motor neuropathy expected in December 2026, and moving Forte’s FB102 into Phase 3 for celiac disease.
