Arnold Palmer Junior Tour plans 400 tournaments

David Blitzer’s Bolt Ventures has partnered with Arnold Palmer Enterprises and the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation to launch the Arnold Palmer Junior Golf Tour, combining the Hurricane and Texas junior circuits it acquired earlier this year. The year-round tour is expected to offer nearly 400 tournaments nationwide for boys and girls ages 8 to 18, with its first event scheduled for Jan. 2-3 at ChampionsGate in Orlando; the two existing circuits will operate under the Palmer name beginning in 2027. Organizers say the tour will emphasize affordability, pathways to college golf and character, while the Palmer Foundation plans to offer an access award to help families with costs.
