Array Technologies closes $165M Affordable Wire Management acquisition
Array Technologies completed its acquisition of Affordable Wire Management (AWM), a move that broadens its balance-of-system offerings for utility-scale solar, energy storage, and datacenter projects. While initial reports pegged the deal at about US$203 million, subsequent filings and releases indicated the closing cash consideration was approximately US$165 million, with final adjustments subject to post-closing settlement. The deal was structured to be at least high single-digit accretive to Array’s adjusted earnings per share in the first year, before any synergies. AWM’s wire management and protection solutions, already deployed in thousands of panels and large-scale projects, are expected to integrate with Array’s tracker, fixed-tilt, and foundation platforms to simplify design, installation, and long-term performance. Executives from both companies described the acquisition as a milestone that enhances customer value and expands growth opportunities across solar, storage, and data-center markets. The closing, announced in filings and press releases dated around August 31, 2026, positions Array to leverage AWM’s engineering strengths and established customer base as it scales its global solar and storage footprint.
