Arrest Follows Second Teen Shooting, East Price Hill

An 18-year-old, Adrian Washington, was arrested and charged after a 16-year-old was shot twice or multiple times on Ring Place in Cincinnati’s East Price Hill neighborhood around 10 p.m. Sunday. The victim was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and police say there are no additional suspects. Washington faces two counts of felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing official business. The shooting follows the fatal Aug. 18 shooting of 14-year-old Rakeem Blair Jr. in East Price Hill, for which a 16-year-old has been charged with murder, intensifying neighbors’ concerns about youth gun violence and unsafe abandoned properties.
