Beloved Rhode Island TV Judge Frank Caprio, known for his compassion in the courtroom, asked for prayers after being diagnosed with pancreatic Cancer.
On Wednesday, Caprio, who is the star of the reality show “Caught in Providence,” 87, posted the emotional announcement on his Instagram page. He explained that he wasn’t “feeling well” around the time of his birthday, which he called “one of the happiest days of the year” for him.
After getting a medical examination, the retired Providence Municipal Court judge revealed “the report was not a good one.”
“I have been diagnosed with Cancer of the pancreas, which is an insidious form of Cancer,” he shared.
According to Cleveland Clinic, symptoms of pancreatic Cancer include fatigue, nausea, bloating, jaundice and lack of appetite.
