Globalist elites at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, appeared to change their tune from pretending to want to improve the world to simply benefiting themselves.
World leaders, including President Donald Trump, gathered for the WEF on Wednesday, which claims that it is “committed to improving the state of the world.” However, The New York Times’ newsletter, “The World,” pointed out on Thursday that elites and CEOs are abandoning this approach to benefit themselves financially.
“All the former buzzwords — social justice, sustainability — have gone.”
It appeared to many that Larry Fink of BlackRock, who is the co-chair of the WEF, was more interested in making this a Business conference. “‘Committed to improving the state of the world’ has mostly disappeared from view,” the Times said.
Fink was a strong advocate for green energy and has pushed for environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG). In 2023, he announced that he would ditch the term, “ESG,” because of its political connotations.
