Federal Immigration authorities arrested the wife and children of the illegal migrant accused of committing a terrorist attack in Colorado, the Trump administration announced.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials detained the wife and all five children of Mohamed Soliman, Homeland Security Secretary Kirist Noem announced on Tuesday. Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national, was arrested Sunday for allegedly attacking a pro-Israel crowd in Boulder, Colorado, demonstrating on behalf of hostages kidnapped by Hamas.
“Today, and are are taking the family of suspected Boulder, Colorado terrorist, and illegal alien, Mohamed Soliman, into ICE custody,” Noem posted Tuesday on social media. “This terrorist will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
‘We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it,” Noem continued. “I am continuing to pray for the victims of this attack and their families. Justice will be served.”
Soliman, an illegal migrant who overstayed his visa in the U.S., is accused of using a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to attack pro-Israel demonstrators. The DHS previously confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation
