“But I wish they would stop doing that,” Behar said of Trump’s attacks on Biden.

Jill Biden’s remarks came as her husband addressed reporters at an event in Wilmington, Delaware.

At the same event, Joe Bidenlambasted Trump for his handling of the coronavirus and the reports on the Russian bounties, describing the president’s claims as a “dereliction of duty” if he was briefed about the matter. (0:37)

As the president continues to distance himself from the handling of the coronavirus, infection rates have continued to increase.

As of Sunday, a total of 37 states are seeing rises in case numbers. There are also more than 2.7 million known coronavirus cases in the U.S., as of Tuesday afternoon.
