Trump’s Fed Chair Pick Gets Ringing Endorsement From Liberal PM Who Bear Hugged Beijing

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney publicly praised President Donald Trump’s decision to nominate former Federal Reserve Gov. Kevin Warsh to succeed current Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on Friday.

Trump announcedWarsh’s nomination to lead the central bank in a Trust Social post on Friday morning, claiming “he will go down as one of the GREAT Fed Chairmen, maybe the best.” Carney, a member of the Liberal Party of Canada, wrote in a statement posted to X that Warsh is “a fantastic choice to lead the world’s most important central bank at this crucial time.”

Warsh could not immediately be reached for comment. Carney’s office did not immediately respond to the 🏢Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
