Majority Of Registered Voters Support Banning Sex Change Surgeries For Minors, Poll Reveals

A majority of registered voters support banning sex-change surgery procedures for minors, according to an October poll from Noble Predictive Insights and The Center Square.

Out of all registered voters, Republican, Democrat and Independent, 59% are against sex change-related procedures for minors, including surgeries and puberty blockers, the poll shows. Numerous Democrats have expressed support for these transgender-related procedures, including Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris and her administration.

Another key issue voters expressed disapproval on is the new policy changes from the Biden administration on the original Title IX statute, which now caters to transgender individuals, allowing them to enter women’s restrooms and locker rooms. Around 31% of voters “strongly disapprove” of these policy changes and only 23% “strongly approve.”
