Two staffers on Republican Michigan Senate nominee Mike Rogers’ campaign appear to be paid foreign agents for Israel, a report published late Sunday shows.
As former Democratic primary candidate Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Rogers over Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed on Sunday, Abigail Ronson — a campaign spokeswoman and paid consultant for Rogers campaign — could be seen standing behind the two politicians. Ronson is one of two registered foreign agents working for the State of Israel on Rogers’ Senate campaign, according to a report from Drop Site News published Sunday.
El-Sayed defeated Stevens by only one percentage point — a closer than expected result — in the August Democratic Michigan Senate primary. AIPAC and its affiliates poured tens of millions of dollars to boost Stevens during the primary — and now the pro-Israel lobby is dedicating millions to help Rogers beat El-Sayed.
Rogers’ campaign did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings from May show that Ronson is registered as a foreign agent for Israel, doing work for HAVAS Media as under Brad Parscale’s Clocktower X LLC. Parscale is the former campaign manager for President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection bid and a registered agent for the Government of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Drop Site reported.
