MSNBC Legal Analyst Labels Biden the ‘Living Embodiment of the Rule of Law’ After Hunter’s Guilty Verdict

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann has fawning words for President Joe Biden after his son, Hunter Biden, was found guilty on three felony charges.

On Tuesday, Weissmann reacted to the news of the verdict in 👤Hunter Biden’s federal gun charge case and noted he was “pretty quickly tried” and given due process.

“And you have the current president, the father of the defendant, making it absolutely clear that he is not pardoning him, that he could have ordered at any time his Justice Department to get rid of this case, he did not do that,” he continued.

Finally, Weissmann said:

“If you look at this case, what is the big picture here, it is not a drug addict who possessed a gun for two weeks. It is that you have a President of the United States who is living embodiment of the rule of law, even with respect to his only living son.”

He suggested that can be contrasted to “the former president’s denigration of the rule of law every single time is found either guilty in a criminal case or liable in a civil case.”
