A New Jersey community is demanding answers after nearly 400 Cancer cases have been identified in and around the town of Keyport, where residents fear they may be living in a Cancer cluster linked to a long-closed industrial landfill.
According to The New York Post, the growing concern began earlier this year when Keyport resident Rusty Morris started documenting Cancer diagnoses in his hometown after hearing from his mother about friends and neighbors battling the disease.
Morris mapped the reported cases and initially found 41 across the borough, including 28 people living on a single street.
Since then, the number of reported cases has grown to nearly 400, according to local reports.
Residents have pointed to the nearby Aeromarine Industrial Park, a 50-acre landfill that closed in 1979, as a possible source of Contamination
