The cause of death for actress Suzanne Somers has been revealed.
According to Somers’ death certificate obtained by The Blast, she died from “breast Cancer with metastasis to the brain.” Hypertension and hydrocephalus were also listed as underlying conditions that contributed to her death.
Somers suffered from hydrocephalus, which causes “abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles (cavities) deep within the brain,” for over a year, per her death certificate.
According to People, Somers died peacefully in the early morning of Oct. 15 one day shy of her birthday. She was 76.
Somers’ longtime publicist R. Couri Hay released a statement on behalf of the “Three’s Company” actress’ family following her passing.
